Eclectic Parent

Kids have been crazy lately. Really truly nuts. Personally I think it is the summer. The sun stays up later and gets up earlier, so they aren’t sleeping as much as the were. Plus it’s just so hot they aren’t getting enough exercise. They’ve been chasing each other around the house screaming, “Run! Run! As fast as you can! You can’t catch me I’m the gingerbread man!” So after about thirty minutes of that I tried to take them outside today. They were red in the face in about 15 minutes. There is only so much that can be done indoors.

Yesterday we had friends come over. We talked to our friends while their daughter ran around with ours. Somehow everyone ended up outside. Then the water went on. Well the kids started spraying each other then somehow we got wet. I ended up with the hose chasing my kids around the yard. We were all soaked but it was fun. And no, no pictures; we were literally soaking, dripping, sprayed with hose type wet. Fun though.
