We have no silver bells nor cockle shells but we are finally getting some veggies on our garden. The kids are very excited about picking the tomatoes from the plants. They love to water our garden everyday. Now they get to look for veggies that need to be picked. I think the kids do a great job of watering themselves along with the plants. We usually have to come in the house covered in mud. Now all of their playing with the water seems to be getting them somewhere. Now we get to go out and pick a few tomatoes everyday. Our fresh tomatoes rarely make into the house; they are really tasty. We’re going to have to make pesto soon to use up some of the basil. The peppers are finally starting to grow and the melon plants are crawling across the garden floor. We would have had some corn by now if our chickens hadn’t gotten out and eaten the stalks. I was really looking forward to corn from our own garden.
How does your garden grow?
