Eclectic Parent

Tuesday C stayed the full three hours with D. That’s a lot of running on little legs. Of course D then went off to three hours of gymnastics Tuesday night! That’s a whole lotta exercise. They had a lot of fun though. They are really loving soccer camp. Between 9 - 12 soccer and 3:30 to 6:30 gymnastics it didn’t leave much time for anything else. While D was at gymnastics I took C and B shopping. We went to a teacher supply store for a few things - a balance and a few games. We also went to Staples for there 1 cent sale. Pack of pencils, pencil sharpeners, etc were 1 penny. We also bought some workbooks. C picked them out. He likes to do them. He keeps asking us to “teach him stuff”; he doesn’t seem to accept that he’s learning all the time.

Grandma is in town and he sat with her to do a few pages of one of his workbooks. He was writing and finding letters. He really wants to learn to write but is frustrated that it doesn’t look “right” - actually it looks excellent for someone who just decided to learn about a month ago, but can’t convince him of that. Now we just need to figure out how to work with a lefty in a righty family.
