The mom’s (and some dad’s) group we belong to has tribe days: giant crazy gatherings of adults and kids. It isn’t like a playdate where same aged children play together while mother’s surround them on couches and watch. Tribe days are usually project oriented. Somehow we haven’t had any all summer. Everyone has been busy. We finally had a tribe day today. Usually the project is for the parents (making homemade cleaning products, lotions and soaps, cooking) but today the kids did a project. We traced all the kids on large paper and taped it to the block wall. Then the painting began.
