The dog’s bollocks

August 20th, 2007 · 2 Comments

You know, as in, last night was the dog’s bollocks? We went to see Eddie Izzard last night. Just the grown ups. He’s hysterically funny. We had seen him to a skit once (dvd not live that time) about the British phrase: the dog’s bollocks. That bollock’s is bad, you hear that sometimes, but that’s dog’s bollocks means great. I had never heard it. Then we were watching something on BBC and they said it; cracked me up. I mean, bee’s knees doesn’t make much sense either, but still.

So seeing Eddie Izzard live was definitely the dog’s bollocks. If you don’t know who he is find dvds of his concerts, but only if you’d find culturally astute, liberal transvestites funny.  And honestly, who doesn’t?

We saw Eddie on Saturday night and I was laughing hysterically! My favorite part was giraffe charades.

Aren’t you glad I told you about the show? :)

Can’t wait until you come home!

I am SO glad you told me. I would have missed the show and heard about it months later. He is so brilliantly funny.

Miss you guys. Back from vacation next week. Did you see the photos for all our vaca travels?
