Eclectic Parent

The new puppy is teething. She had been chewing on everything she can get her mouth around. We could see why she was having such a chewing fit, she had double incisors on the top and bottom. One of the things that the puppy chewed was a little stuffed dog of D’s. Mommy went to get a new one, but they didn’t have it any more. So having gone to a bookstore with every intention of replacing Teddy, Mommy ended up with three new books. She got a different one stuffed puppy from Changing Hands, our favorite local bookstore. She also got a new book called “Bad Dog Marley” since it seemed appropriate. It is about a puppy that chews everything up. The kids thought it was very funny, especially when the 1 year old would try to say bad dog Marley. Mommy also picked up a few more books: “Skippyjon Jones and the Big Bones”. The entire Skippyjon Jones series is really funny. This story is about Skippyjon imagining that he is going to back through time to meet the dinosaurs. Just can’t pass up a Skippyjon when we see one is out. The last book was “Olivia”, about a cute little pig that like to dance,change her clothes and just generally tire everyone out. B enjoyed watching Oliva go through her day of pickig outfits, imagining herself dancing ballet and going a museum to see her favorite painting of dancers. The new books were a great hit and the puppy seems to have lots her baby teeth on the bottom. I wonder what she will have to chew on to get the baby teeth out from the top.
