The family was snatched while going about their usual business, learning, living and diligently blogging about. Held captive for over a month they finally escaped. Now here, in this exclusive post, they discuss all the usual activities they missed . . .
well it sounds better than the truth. First we got back into the swing of post-holiday, post-vacation life. And I was taking a writing class, which was not at all what I thought it would be; all the time usually spent blogging after the kids go to bed was spent writing instead. Then, we got so busy with work that I didn’t even make it to the last 4 weeks of my class because I had no time to write. Finally my computer completely crashed and had to be reloaded from the operating system on up. When it was reloaded I lost all my bookmarks and auto-fill-ins and . . . ummm, couldn’t remember the url to login to the blog. See boring.
And it isn’t that we haven’t been doing anything. Daddy and grandma had birthdays in March. Just last week, papa had a birthday too. C is now riding without training wheels and B is on a big kid bike with training wheels. We’ve been to the Desert Botanical Gardens homeschool tour, taken grandma and papa to the zoo and numerous park days with friends.
