Mesa family dayRing Toss

At the last minute we heard about a community celebration at the public library. So Saturday daddy took the kids to the library. The had an entire day of music, puppet shows, jugglers, etc. Lots of booths, give-aways (including a used bookstore that gave away used kids books and cloth tote bags). We also went to the Japanese festival and played with the really big drums. We saw all sorts of things at the Japanese festival: Bonsai trees, Drums and Sword demonstrations to name a few. So we got to get out of the house and see and experience some new things. There is usually something going on at heritage park in Phoenix and it was nice to find something going on here in Mesa.
