Eclectic Parent

I had created category Books, Books, Books months upon months ago but never use it. I had thought I could write about what we read every day to keep track, but somehow we usually write about other things. We had been having a serious lull in reading. They happen around here. Ebb and flow and all that. Not that we don’t read at all during our lulls but maybe one story at night instead of one after another throughout the day.

Today the boys brought me all the MathStart books we have - and we read all of them. I look for them every time I go through our local used bookstore so we have quite a few. MathStart books are written by Stuart J. Murphy and have various illustrators. Divided into three levels, they are story based math books that teach basic skills.
