Eclectic Parent

Any of you that know me are probably aware of my lifelong obsession with books. I’ve finally decided to turn that obsession into a home-based business with a fantastic children’s publisher called Barefoot Books. I received my first Barefoot Book at D’s baby shower almost 8 years ago and have been adding them to our collection ever since. It’s a company that values inspiring creativity, celebrating diversity and protecting our planet while sharing wonderful stories and gorgeous art with children.

When I realized we had about 20 of their books on our book shelf I decided to go for it. It was also a time when our photography business was slow. Now photography is back up to full speed and I have a brand new business to juggle. Oh well, one can never have too many books. I decided to name my business Happy Barefoot because we are a happy barefoot family. The best part of getting the starter kit was getting tons of new books to read!
