Birthday Bowling

Make A Wish

Another great thing about homeschooling? Kids are free during the day when things aren’t busy.  D had a bowling birthday party for this 8Rollingth birthday. Lots of fun bowling, pizza, cake and fun in the game room. Overall a definite success.

At home he did a little with his electro-magnetic science kits. We hooked a battery to come clamps and then to a motor. Fun, fun.

And to top it all off, he finally lost tooth number four. That is going to make for a great portrait.

It was great fun-boisterous and noisy with 14? 16? energetic, excited kids bowling, dancing, eating. There was quite a diversity in ages and definitely different levels of bowling skill but everyone just played and had fun. Even B did well having only one ball that didn’t make it down the alley. Throwing a 5 or 6 pound ball all those times is a lot of work when you only weigh about 30. C relished his big brother’s day and was so excited that he received such nice gifts-good to see. Can’t wait to see D’s gap toothed smiles in the birthday pics. He had looked so funny with the 2 opposite teeth missing, an early jack o lantern.
