Great blog! Lovely kids too! We home educated ours in the UK; they're flying away now, but since I'm still writing about home ed to help and support others I've been checking out some homeschool blogs and found yours. Such a great way to showcase homeschooling and allow others to see it for real - keep it up, it's great! If you feel like paying me a visit to see if there's anything of use I'm here; http://rossmountney.wordpress.com
Meanwhile, very best wishes for your homeschool days, may you continue to enjoy them! x

I don't homeschool the way others do, I can't unschool (I'm too much of a control freak!), but what I do have in common with other people who educate their children at home is the flexibility to provide an education for my uniquely individual child that fits her, not a one-size-fits-all education. Thanks so much for listing things available to do in your area, it gives me some ideas of things to look for in my area and where we will be moving soon. For some reason, today, your post made me happy and I thank you!
Linda
Using a secular homeschool curriculum doesn’t mean we don’t believe, it just means we use a secular curriculum!
